Thank you all for another great spaghetti dinner! It was wonderful to see all of the kids, players, parents, coaches, and soccer supporters enjoying a great meal and pleasant fellowship, and helping the Mount Horeb Soccer Club. And thank you also to everyone who volunteered, brought baked goods, helped to organize and run the dinner, donated raffle prizes, and all of the other things you did (and do every day) to help make soccer possible for hundreds of Mount Horeb area youth!

The Mount Horeb Soccer Club fields several competitive teams at the classic level each year (for proof, see the article about the U12 Red team on this page!) Most of our classic teams are coached by our Challenger coach provided we can form enough teams to support that. If your child would like to play competitive soccer for a Mt. Horeb team next season, we invite you to participate in our classic tryouts. Players from any community are welcome to try out for a team. Below is the tryout schedule for both boys and girls teams from U11 through U14 (we will schedule tryout dates for older players later this spring):

Monday May 20 and Wednesday May 22.
5:00-5:30 pm--register boys
5:30-7:00 pm: Boys tryouts/evaluations
6:30-7:00 pm: register girls
7:00-8:30 pm--Girls tryouts/evaluations

The tryouts will be held at Liberty Park, 1201 Cox Dr. in Mt. Horeb.

Early registration has closed. You can still register on site during the check in period. Register on site the day of the tryouts. Cost: $30

IMPORTANT WEATHER RELATED NOTE:

If it storms on Monday May 20 or Wednesday May 22 and we have to cancel the tryout session, then the rain date for classic tryouts will be Thursday May 23 @ Liberty Park. If it storms both Monday and Wednesday, then we will have only one tryout session on the rain date: Thursday May 23.

Please come dressed to play: shin guards, socks and cleats. Bring a ball and water bottle.
